Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Rowan Trades, provided by Recherché Merchant Solutions, Inc. ("RMS"), handles and how. Rowan Trades is used by businesses; the business is responsible for its relationship with its own customers.
What we collect
- Account and team information: business name, state, license number, user names and roles.
- Customer information the business attaches to an estimate or job, such as name, phone, email, job address, lead source and notes.
- Estimates and jobs: scope, prices, costs, measurements, phases, dates, tasks and who is assigned.
- Signatures: the signer's typed name and initials, the time, IP address and device information, kept as a record of the electronic signature.
- Payment records: amounts, dates, how a payment was made and payment status. Rowan Trades does not receive or store full card or bank account numbers; that data is handled by the payment processor.
- Website inquiries: what you send us through the demo form on this site.
How we use it
To provide and support Rowan Trades: preparing estimates and contracts, collecting signatures, running jobs, figuring and recording payments, keeping contacts current in your CRM, producing reports, preventing fraud and misuse, and responding to support requests.
Where it lives
Rowan Trades records are stored with our infrastructure provider in secured cloud databases. Customer contact information also lives in your CRM account, which Rowan Trades reads and updates with the permissions you approve.
Sharing
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help run Rowan Trades (hosting, your CRM platform, your payment processor), when you direct us to, or when required by law.
Retention
We keep records while you use Rowan Trades and for a reasonable period afterward so you can request an export, then delete them, except where we must keep them longer by law. Signed contracts may need to be kept longer for your own records; export them before you leave.
Security
We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage of access tokens, signed links for customer pages, role-based access and activity logs. No system is perfectly secure; contact us right away if you suspect a problem.
Your choices
Businesses can export or correct their records and ask us to delete them. If you are a customer of a business that uses Rowan Trades, contact that business first; we'll help them respond to your request.
Changes
We'll post updates here and change the effective date. Material changes will be communicated to account owners.
